Dsquared2’s Milan Fashion Week Display
A Celebration of Legacy
Tuesday night, the atmosphere at Milan Fashion Week changed when Dsquared2 unveiled its Fall/Winter 2025-2026 collection. It was more than just a Fashion show. That night, the brand celebrated 30 years of boundary-pushing fashion. The twin designers, Dean and Dan Caten, blended nostalgia with fashion-forward styles proving once more why the label remains a powerful force in the fashion world.
The Opening
The rapper Doechii set the evening by taking the runway with a storming entrance to her hit “Nissan Altima”. Her confident strut and dynamic energy perfectly encapsulated the vibrant and rebellious spirit of the brand. The Grammy-winning artist has had a very successful year, and her statement performance proved how she has brought something new to the creative industry that is seen among designers.
The Collection
The collection was the ultimate love letter to Dsquared2’s roots by creating a grunge meets glamour line infused with a modern edge. Oversized flannel shirts, distressed denim, and layered textures stole the spotlight. Despite the initial feel of rugged clothing, the brand stayed true to its beginnings and presented an undeniable sense of glamour. Sequined accents, Amelia Grey Hamlin’s tribute runway look and tailored outwear elevated the line, creating a seamless balance between distressed and refined.
Some key pieces that were noticeable include oversized bomber jackets paired with leather trousers, cowboy hats with denim, evening dresses, and furry hats and jackets. The designers massively leaned into layering, with models sporting combinations of knitwear, denim and statement coats that felt both practical and cool. Some key colours were khaki, black, navy, and pops of fuchsia and silver.
A Star-Studded Show
Amelia Grey Hamlin was not the only star present at the show. Supermodel Naomi Campbell took over the runway, commanding attention as she showcased one of the standout looks: a corseted black leather ensemble paired with thigh-high leather boots. The brand’s inclusive ethos was brought on by the many other models such as Irina Shayk and Alex Consani. The front row was a who’s who of the fashion and entertainment worlds. From celebrities to influencers, the industry’s insiders gathered to witness the show. Their reactions proved how Dsquared2 do not just give a fashion show, they give an event.
30 Years of Dsquared2
The brand’s Anniversary made this show particularly special was its significance as a milestone for the brand. Over the past three decades, the Caten twins have built their label into a global powerhouse known for its bold designs, glam rock aesthetic, and fearless approach to fashion. The 30th anniversary runway was a reflection of their journey, celebrating the past while fearlessly looking into what lies ahead for them. At the end of the show, the designers took the stage and thanked the audience. Fashion, after all, is about reinvention. And if this collection shows any indication, it’s that Dsquared2 is just getting started.
